I was found in the middle of September on the suburbs of Heraklion. I was very skinny and had lots of fleas. I had a blood test taken from me and the results were not good at all... I was positive for leishmania. Immediately I got medication for that. After 2 weeks, my blood tests were much better and after 4 weeks even better. I also got some happy news when a more sensitive blood test done in a laboratory in Athens showed that I was leishmania negative!

And believe it or not but I had a major step back after that... I had a uterine prolapse. I went to surgery immediately and I was sterilized during the operation. Fortunately after recovering for a few days my health was back to normal.

Now I am doing ok, with a good appetite, lots of energy, and a very healthy look. I am not taking any medication now. My next appointment with the vet will be in March 2022, to see how I am doing.

I have been living in two foster homes since I first got to the shelter. My first foster was a family with a small son, around 3 years old. I learned a lot about patience with this small human being, so I would be a perfect dog for home with kids. And now I am living in a foster home with another, older dog, so I am able to learn from him a lot ;) I still need some training, but I am a clever girl, so I will be able to learn everything with some love and patience.

I am ready to leave my foster behind and finally have a permanent place to stay. I want to experience the loving of a family and be able to have a place to call home. Would you give me that?
