I have been at the shelter for quite some time and I am finally ready to find a home. I used to be very timid of everything, and didn’t want to come out from my little cottage here at the shelter. I am still shy but slowly learning the ropes. I have a nice character under all the fear, but I can sometimes act in unpredictable ways when scared. I would need my future home to be experienced with dogs and have extra patience, giving me the time that I need to come out of my shell. It would be great if I could find a place with a bit of privacy and an own yard to have a place to go outside without being afraid. And to get the chance to slowly get used to the surroundings. I get along well with other dogs and they also help me feel more comfortable. So it wouldn't be a bad idea to live in a home with other dogs.
So I am not the easiest of dogs to live with because of my fears, but I know I can learn to be more confident in time. I just need someone to show me that the world is not going to hurt me. I need someone special with that extra space in their heart and home to welcome dogs like me, who need a little bit more patience and time. Maybe you are the one?
