Unfortunately I have leishmaniasis, so I need a pill per day and regular blood test to stay healthy.
My Hero for a sick animal is Alex Osvald. Thank you so much!

Ready for a new life

Hi, I am

My sponsor is

Sonja Ramseyer

My story like so many other dogs here is quite rough. I was found on the streets, skinny and weak. I had lost almost all of my hair and looked like a walking corpse. Fortunately these kind people took me to the vet to see what's wrong. And it turned out that I had leishmaniasis. A long recovery period started here at the shelter, and fortunately I found a foster home that soon took me in to avoid additional stress of the shelter.
I have been at the shelter for quite some time now and I am doing good. My hair is now all grown back as gorgeous as before and I have put on some extra pounds. Because I have lived in foster homes I already know how to behave in a home. I have a really easy-going and nice temper. I just love everyone, people, dogs and cats and want to show my appreciation for being healthy again. I still need daily medication and regular check ups at the vet but that is a small price to pay for feeling this good.
I have come such a long way and proved that I am a little fighter. But I do hope that my fighting days are over, and I could spend the rest of my life sleeping in a warm bed next to someone to love. Would you be the one?
