The little fighter

Hi, I am

Peanut

My sponsor is

I have a bit of a survivor story, so listen closely. I have actually been at the shelter for a while now, but I was in such a weak condition for a long time before, due to Leishmania. Thankfully with treatment I started to get better and now i am finally in good health. You can actually see my progress by skimming through my pictures. What a change, hah? I just need a pill per day and regular blood tests to maintain my good health.
I am a boxer mix and it shows in my behaviour. I am goofy and energetic, but like to test my limits and I do need a family that is familiar with big, energetic dogs. I would love to play with other dogs, but I tend to play rather roughly and sometimes that gets me in trouble, especially with other males. I also get a bit stressed out around cats, so I prefer to keep my distance from them.
I am now looking for a home with a family to love me. With the right home and proper activities I will be the best dog! I have already known the struggles of life in the past, so please give me a chance for a better future.
