I have no known medical issues but I need blood tests to make sure there are no underlying issues
Hi, I am
My sponsor is
I came to the shelter in 2019 and I was terrified of everything. People had not been exactly nice to me during my life, so my first instinct is always to run or then to freeze.
After some weeks and months of constant praises and cuddles from the volunteers and visitors, I started to look forward for their visits and always greet them with a wagging tail.
At that point they had the bright idea to take me out for photos since I was making good progress and photos would help me find a family to continue working on my shyness.
They clearly have no idea how dangerous and scary the big world can be, so I simply refused to move and waited for them to carry me. When we actually took the photos it was kind of fun, I got to cuddle a lot, and even got the courage to sniff and walk around a bit!
I'm still not completely sure why on earth would anyone want to go out and explore, but I hear the other dogs enjoy that kind of things a lot and maybe with time and someone to encourage me slowly, I would start to enjoy it too?
One thing I sure do enjoy, is a soft place next to another dog or a human and just cuddling there in peace.
Maybe you could offer me the time and love I need to be happy?
